I managed to get the radio working simply by doing a service reset.

Hi list. In my experience and that of other Braillenote users I know, the
FM radio in the Braillenote is pretty crummy at best. Mine crapped out a
few months ago and no one at HW support had any idea how to fix it other
than to send the unit back. I figure that it isn't worth it just to fix
an already poor quality radio. Jim
