That is a feature in the list, but I have not found it to be true. BRF files
still read in kng, thankfully (I hate Eloquence on the bn; it is choppy and
just sounds off). I am not sure about daisy books, but others say that they
read with kng if that is your setting.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Firmware 8.0 - Eloquence when reading question
I read in the feature list for Keysoft 8 that Eloquence is now used
when reading, even if KGM is set as the system synth.
Is this a permanent non-changeable option?
Call me crazy, but I'm one of the few who actually enjoys listening to
text with KGM. Not that I have anything against Eloquence, but there's
something about KGM I like - it's one of the reasons I ended up going
with a BrailleNote.
Also, I'd like to see the ability to add the British UK voice to
Eloquence - That might mitigate the effect for me a bit, as I tolerate
that one better than the American English version for long-reading
sessions.
I've always grieved the loss of KGM software for the PC....
