I'd try going back to Radioshack again, take the cable that
wouldn't work that you bought from them. Also, take the cable
that came with the BN and hope you can get a sales person there
who can tell you if there's anything special about the BN cable.
You might have just got a defective one from Radioshack when you
bought that one.
Merry Christmas to all on the list from the Rurry Family in

Kalamazoo the cat! Kalamazoo loves music by the Jingle Cats,
unfortunately he's not able to carry a tune in a bucket, even

Subject: [Braillenote] serial cable
Hi all, I just perchased a printer. It worked fine with the
serial cable
that came with my Braillenote. I needed another one for another
connection,
so I brought the cable to Radio Shack. I bought one there for
$20 that was
supposed to be the same. However, it doesn't work for either a
connection
to the printer or to the computer. Is there something special
about the
cable that came with the Braillenote? I was hoping I could buy
another one
locally.
