Uh oh, this needs more work...
Try Factory Defaults Reset (delete a file called keysoft.ksd
underDictionaries folder; after deleting this file, immediately
perform Reset).
Few questions:
* How long have you had your BrailleNote?
* What KeySoft version are you using?
* When did this problem start?
* Are there folders besides General that you cannot access?
* At the "folder list," are there other folders besides General
that are displayed and can be accessed?
I think the answer to these questions would determine the next
step.

Subject: [Braillenote] keyword update
Hi everyone. I appreciate all of your suggestions. I receive
the exception
edit commands when trying to open, or create or even move files
from my
flash disk to anywhere else. Files on my compact flash card seem
unaffected, things work as they should. In the drive list, my
flash disc
is still appearing giving me information such as free space, etc.
Upon
trying to open or create a file, the fokder name prompt is still
displayed,
but, other than general, i can not select any other folder nor
can I even
view files in the general folder. Upon trying to do this, the
exception
edit command comes up. The service reset has not fixed things
nor has the
dots 4 5 6 reset. Keep in mind here that a vast majority of
these files
have been created using my BN, so not sure if formatting is the
issue.
Sure hope this can be remideed without having to send it in.
Sigh.
