I took my VoiceNote Mpower to a Batteries Plus store. I actually went two times, once for them to see if they could do the replacement, and the next week to get it done. I could have left the unit but needed it and didn't want to be without it for a week, still bettar than the 7 or 8 weeks it would have taken for HumanWare to do the same thing. So when I took the unit back the second time, they had it for around 2.5 hours and it cost around $54 for the labor and replacement batteries. I would not recommend doing it yourself unless you know how to solder and are good mechanically. Good luck, Jim ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
