Hi,
Not exactly off topic (I think), as it also connects with
KeySoft.
At the moment CE cannot be accessed via a screen reader (unless
there is a way of doing it via the user interface of the
netbook).
As for comparison, think of the netbook as a handheld comp-ter
(similar to BrailleNote) that does not support XP-TYPE programs.
If there are programs that were written for the user interface
(and advertising as compatible with CE), then it can be used
(hypothetically speaking).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. Also, these are called handhelc PC.

Subject: [Braillenote] off topic windows ce netbook
Hi.
Sorry for an off topic post, but i cant find any information on
the
internet. I am getting my brother a vary simple netbook with 2
gb hard
drive and 128 mb of ram. It is running windows ce 6 and i will
have to
set it up for him. He can see, but i want to know if ce can be
accessed
with nvda, how it compairs to xp, and also can external programs
like
firefox be used on ce.
Please reply off list if it is way off topic.
Thanks. Louise.
