Let me see if I can answer your questions in order.
1. Is it possible to have keybase and keylist and keymail folders from a 7.5.31 machine backed up somewhere of my choice and depositted on the apex, replacing those of the apex?
Yes it is. That's what I did. Then just put your files into the appropriate folders on the Apex, make sure they're unprotected so they'll run, and you're set. You can do this with any planner files too, if you use them.
2. What steps are involved in transfering a sendero license between those 2 machines?
Mine was already transferred to my Apex when it came, so you might want to talk to your vendor or to Sendero about your particular situation, if your GPS isn't up and running on the new unit.
3. I've heard that the unit comes with replaceable batteries, is this true and are you to buy them yourself, or do they come automatically with the machine?
Mine were already in the machine. So you just plug it in when you get it, as it will probably need to be charged. The batteries need to be purchased from Humanware, so when these batteries get old, or if for some reason you want to buy an extra one, you'd contact Humanware.
