brltty definitely has a driver for braillenotes ( http://mielke.cc/brltty/doc/drivers/BrailleNote-keys.txt) but I believe it only works with the RS-232 serial port. No usb or bluetooth. It's pretty old though with the readme still saying they're made by PDI instead of Humanware.
