My husband had a similar experience. After using his Apex he checked the
level then, after a period of being switched off but not charged, he found
it was reported as considerably higher.
The level certainly can appear to fluctuate a bit on the PK too.

A very weird problem indeed. I checked my battery level
and it said 29% full. I recorded myself playing the
piano for 5 min. then checked it again. 39% full. Is it
lying? Does it need a new battery?
