I thought I'd just clarify more on this since it's not quite the way I saw
the bug at first!
It appeared to me that the marked files option was completely broken ... and
that was really quite serious, I thought.
However, I had noticed that, when using the files menu followed by the
letter C, you heard "Copy file". OK, that worked as one might expect ...
but not files!
Yesterday, when using my husband's Apex, I automatically did something I
quite often do and found it to work ...
I went to the files menu and C for copy and marked files for moving. After
this, quite without thinking, I pressed M with dot 7 to move those files,
instead of pressing "Enter". It worked ... and I almost missed what had
happened.
Today, on further investigation, I can confirm that the copy and erase items
do still work with marked files, providing you use the dot 7 with letters to
carry out the transaction you want. I didn't bother to try the rename
feature but have no reason to think that it won't work.
I still think this to be a little inconsistent and so have amended my report
accordingly.
