Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to tell if a wireless
network is secure or non-secure on the BrailleNote M-power. When I
scan for wireless networks on a laptop, for example, it'll say secure
or non-secure, and then tell me I need a password if the former is the
case. From what I read in the user manual, if you select a wireless
network, the configurations should be detected and set for you. But I
see this is not the case. I had to tell it to use WEP for my home
network. If I don't even know if the network is non-secure, I won't
know if I can freely access it. So is there any way to tell if I need
a password or not?
