Hi, Vicky,
I was able to download at least ten books in a row with the previous BookShare site and versions prior to 7.5 build 31. I wish BookShare would be more responsive to their longtime membership!

Using my mPower with KS8, I've pretty much given up on doing much with
Bookshare, too. I can sometimes download maybe two or three books at a time, but never more than that, and I can't always get even three downloaded. But on the other hand, I can seemingly download as many as I want with my Voice Sense. For, although of course I don't visit the site and download this many every day, I have certainly downloaded more than ten books with the VS on several occasions.

Brandon, Don't feel badly.
I am using version 7.5 build 31, and my mPower freezes all the time. I
can
usually get one book downloaded from BookShare, and that's it. I'm
inclined to think it's BookShare, and not the mPower, no matter which
version you are running.
I wrote to BookShare, with no happy result.
Whatever they keep doing to their site is sinking a braille device which
to
me seems really counter productive, since there are braille books there
just waiting to be read, and how better than with a braille display?
Sorry for my rant, but I'm also very annoyed, but not with the mPower.
Kathy

First, downgrading is possible. Just download the bin file and run the
usual upgrade procedure; you should not require an upgrade key.

Second, I am not sure ks8 is doing this. It will warn you about low
memory, but that is just a message about a problem just as present in
7.5. I think the Bookshare website upgrade, which Bookshare did last
year, is causing the problems, not the version of keysoft. In fact, a
new version of keysoft, 7.5.31, was required before the bn would even
support the Bookshare site.
