Hello to all, How I feel for those with the 18 cell version of Apex who are experiencing the mis-routing of their cursor tracking buttons. How gratifying it must be for them to be immediately reassured that help to overcome this fault, is on the way. I am left however, wondering what I have done to upsetHumanware. Within a few hours of receiving my Apex back in January, I discovered that I can no longer print envelopes, cheques, or labels which demand the "landscape" printing command; though I am using standard Hewlett-packard printers. I also soon became aware of difficulties relating to the copying of databases to be used on other equipment. Both of these errors have caused me considerable problems. I now have to seek sighted help to achieve these operations. Though Humanware UK have tested my findings and agree with them, I have never seen any acknowledgement on this list that there is any intention of putting them right, or indeed, that work for their solution is being undertaken. Why the difference in approach? Is it because these errors are insoluble? If so, the Firm should be honest enough to say so and enable me to seek elsewhere for a device to carry out my work. As I wrote recently, I sincerely like my Apex, but I am daily becoming convinced that I made the wrong decision to purchase Apex, I should have kept my Mpower. I would feel a lot happier if someone in the organization could reassure me, like those with their cursor routing problem, that help is on the way, with some indication of when it is likely to arrive.
Don Cooper.
