Hi David and others, 1. Perhaps I'm using my computer to browse this site... No problems accessing that article. 2. That sentence meant that, in case of multiple connection configurations, you can use that particular connection configuration (you've just created) to browse the web. Using activeSync connection merely means you are using your computer's Internet connection e.g. if your computer is using wired connection, you are effectively using that Internet connection. Think of this as Internet connection Sharing where your computer acts as a router and the ActiveSync connection (the actual connection method such as USB) acts as a network cable. I should have elaborated more on this... Hope this helps. Joseph, No rush. But thank you in advance for responding whenever you can to my questions below. On your PB Works site, you have a link called Connecting to the Internet Via Active Sink. Two questions: (Question 1) As I was writing this email, I went back to your site to re-read the "Connect Via Active Sink" article. Even though I did a 4-5-6 re-set to try and remedy the problem, my Empower would not let me find (for re-read purposes) your article under your link. Twice, the Empower refused, saying "Cannot find server." Why the sudden and repeated rejection? (Question 2) Fortunately, the very first time I read the article, the one I could not get to in my two extra tries above, I at least did one smart thing. I "block saved" the following sentence: Quote: "Now when you use Internet or email, use the newly created connection configuration to access the web." Joseph: Does this mean My Voice Note Empower can serve as a terminal to my wife's PC? If so, I guess this is one way to overcome the web search limitations of the Empower? Please let me know on this. If I am reading your article right, perhaps you could share with me, and with the readers of your article, some examples of how Active Sink would allow an Empower user to indeed better navigate the Web. I look forward to hearing from you on this when you can. David Beyond Vision Nashville, TN 615-385-0784 No virus found in this incoming message.
