Hi, At least thanks for reporting this to us. Cheers, joseph -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Alex Hall Sent: Sunday, July 11, 2010 10:45 AM To: bn Subject: [Braillenote] Apex bluetooth file transfer
Hi all, I just tested bluetooth file transfer in the manner described a couple days ago; that is, using file manager > translation > export > device: bluetooth. The Apex is a bt32 with ks9.01b753, and the laptop is a Dell with Vista 32 bit. The test was unsuccessful, even though I had activeSync active. All the bn said was "0 files exported", with no delay at all, and I did not get a prompt to select a bluetooth device. I then tried sending a file the other way, from the laptop to the bn, and the laptop said that "ftp service was not found on the target device". I guess that answers that. It is unfortunate, but not unexpected. Hopefully hw will soon start actually using all the fancy new bluetooth services they say the Apex supports; what good is having the service available if keysoft will not use it, after all? -- Have a great day, Alex (msg sent from GMail website) [email protected]; http://www.facebook.com/mehgcap ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
