I talked to a tech support person regarding this same thing. She said that there was a goodie in keysoft 9.1.0 (released later in 2010) that was really gonna improve things for braille display support. That's all I know here.

I have used my Apex with JAWS 11 on Windows 7 Home Premium 32-29t
and once it's all set up, it's not bad, at least for reading.
Navigation is quite difficult and keyboard input appears to be
impossible, but I think these are more JAWS issues than Windows 7
ones. The only thing to watch out for is that the BrailleNote
(any type), among a lot of other displays, are not supported in
the 64-29t version of JAWS 11.

Hi folks,
Has anyone tried using your Apex as a Braille display under
Windows 7 using
popular screen readers? I'm thinking on moving to Win7 to take
advantage of
faster processing. Thanks.
Cheers,
Joseph
