Hi, all. I have an Apex at home, and an mPower at work. I've been using a 512-meg SD card to copy files to and from work and home. So I put the SD card into my Apex, copy the files I want to take to work, take the SD to work, then copy files onto my mPower there. This morning I copied a bunch of files from the Apex onto the SD card, and when I got to work, all the new files, as well as all the old files I had on the card, were gone. Since they were there this morning when I copied them to the card with the Apex, and gone when I put that same card into the mPower just ten minutes later, I'm wondering if there's a glitch in the Apex software, where it occasionally eats files. I know it's programmed to erase upgrade files after an upgrade; could there be a bug in the software that causes it to go on an erasing frenzy? Or could I just have a bad SD card of romething? But seeing this happen makes me wonder about things like GPS maps on an SD card, etc. Will a person set out on a route and find their files gone?
Has anyone had this happen to them? Maybe I'll send a message to Humanware Support, just to make them aware of what happened, in case they want to look into it as a possible bug.
