Subject: [Braillenote] Find and Replace in Keyword

Hi,
Okay, now that I'm back on the list and all seems to be working, I may as well get right into it.

One of the first things I noticed with my Apex and Keyword was a find-and-replace bug and I can't seem to figure out a work-around; maybe some of you will have some ideas.

I download a lot of books in .brf format from Bookshare. One of the things that I do right off the bat is open the book in Keyword, and I try to strip out all of the lines of dashes that separate the print pages, leaving the print page numbers intact. So, that means I'll do a find-and-replace, looking for strings of dashes, say, up to 36 dashes in a string, and I tell Keyword to replace that string with nothing at all, and, I'll tell it to replace all occurrences. Now, here's the funny part. I could be looking right at one of those strings of dashes, and keyword insists that it can't find it.

Do any of you experts out there have a work-around for this?

Thanks in advance.

CHEERS!
Tom
