Hi,
I wish I could port my Date calendar to KeySoft - the only thing I need to
add would be an array of day names, that's all. As for count-down timer, an
important module is needed - that of a system time counter (possibly via
loop). I think Alex is working on a version under Java or Python - if he
does, then I plan to translate it into C++ and off we go...
The only real method of exchanging database items would be CSV (Comma
Separated Values), which is supported under Excel.
Cheers,
Joseph

Personally, I'd like a couple of things from my Braille Lite 40: a
countdown timer (pretty trivial to code, I suspect). As well, I'd like to
be able to look up the full day-of-week information for an arbitrary date
I might enter so that, say, I could look up the date of New Year's Day
2011 or perhaps find out on what day of the week the world was blessed
with my arrival on the scene. :)

While I'm at it, I would love to see some tools for the PC to permit stuff
like import/export of those crazy Braille Note proprietary databases. I'm
still a little hesitant to really get into using the planner, address
list, and such because I feel like I would be boxing the information up in
a container that I would lose access to if my unit had to go into
hospital.

Of course I'd like access to Excel documents and stuff like that, but I
know they let those little coders at Humanware sleep sometimes.

Cheers,
Jerry
