This might help you if Josephe's suggestions have not worked. I have seen
this happen with new units right out of the box prior to being handled by
any users. The possibility is that the memos folder on the flash disk has
too much in it to enable the user guide to run. I have seen this before on
many units and it is an easy fix.
Do the following.
>From the main menu go to the file manager by pressing F.
Press D for directory.
When prompted for the drive choose the flash disk
When prompted for the folder name press space to get to the folder list and
choose "My Memmos."
Press Enter.
There should be a list of files. You can delete them but be warned...
If your student has recorded memos that he or she wants to keep have them
backed up. Sometimes the record button can get pressed inadvertently so the
folder may be full. If the student has a habit of recording lots of memos
then I suggest you try changing the location of where the memos are stored
and store them on removable media that the student has access to and can
stay in the mPower. If you need instructions let me or someone on the list
know.

Subject: [Braillenote] user manual

Hello everyone,
At school we have a BrailleNote mPower, which is currently running Keysoft
7.5 build 29. It appears that the User Guide is missing. Whenever I do O
chord followed by U, the BN says cannot find the table of contents. The BN
freezes every time.
What has happened, and how can I retrieve the User Guide?
Thank you in advance for any ideas.
Donna
