Hi Mike,

I've received my Sandisk SD cards from memorysuppliers in the mail

where exactly is the SD card slot? and if it should ever become

only and back? Thanks

With the MPower's back panel facing toward you, locate the compactflash slot, then move to the right and you'll find the mini USB port. The SD card slot is below that port, almost at the bottom edge of the unit.

When you look at an SD card, you'll notice several things: it has a smooth surface which is a label, and the underside is somewhat rougher. One end of the card has a corner removed. The end that goes into the MPower first has ridges on the underside. So, orient the card so that its label faces upward and the cut corner is toward you and is to your left. Run your fingernail along the right edge of the card and you'll find a recessed area where the read/write switch is. You should be able to move that switch back and forth with your fingernail. To set the card so that it's writeable, move the switch toward you; to set it to read-only, move it to the rear of the card and make sure that it's snapped into place. Hope this helps.

Tom
