Hi folks,
I guess with the updated status on my unit, I thought I'd share a few
research areas about Apex that we the programmers and researchers need to
conduct...
* New system sounds: if we "the researchers" figure out the names of the
system sounds, we could compile a corresponding set of these sounds and post
it on my site. This means that we could theoratically have Apex sound like
XP or windows 7 (in extreme cases, like Windows Mobile).
* KeySoft architecture: whether keysoft.exe is just a single file or is now
divided into multiple files.
* Reading RAM Disk: to find out what's really in KeySoft System Disk on the
Apex compared to an mPower (requires XP with ActiveSync).
* file download limit: To see if 60 MB is really the limit for file
download.
* Braille display support under mobile operating systems i.e. Windows
Mobile, IOS, etc.
At least for now. For more info on who these programmers and researchers
are, just contact one of us - Alex Hall, Nicole T., Robert Cummings, Paul
Leake, Chris Hallsworth and myself and others...
Cheers,
Joseph
