Hi all. Can anyone tell me if there is a way of getting rid of unwanted code indicators? Here is what I mean: I went to paste in some grade 2 Braille I'd saved to the clipboard into an email, but instead pasted in an email address in computer Braille. This happened because the address wouldn't automatically come up when entering it in the "to" field so I copied it from the address list. I forgot that I hadn't yet pasted the grade 2 Braille I wanted to paste. Consequently, there was a grade 0 indicator, then the email address and then another grade 2 indicator. I deleted the email address but the indicators remained. Nothing I did, either backspace or backspace with dot 2, would get rid of them. Instead, I ended up having to re-write part of the email.

I have come across this before when writing out German to english and vise versa. The Braille display becomes so crowded with code indicators that it looks a real mess and slows the reading process down. I don't mind if they're necessary but if there's nothing in between them and they won't disappear, they're a real nuisance.

Any advice for how to delete them?

Thanks.

Pchele
