Depending on what you have been doing prior to GPS, particularly if it is
browsing the internet, you may want to reset your unit before using GPS. To
my knowledge, that is the only way to fix the virtual memory problem. Also,
if you are trying to save a route, make sure that your card is not full.

I have been using the mpower a little more these days. I put in a 16 gb
card, with the entire US loaded on it, as well as Canada. The mpower is
complaining about virtual memory, and saying exception command messages.
Sometimes I cannot even calculate a one-mile route, e.g. school to home
for a classmate. It says "unable to create route." or something like that.
Is the entire US and Canada an overload for a KS8 machine?
