What kind of bn is it? If it is an Apex, try waiting a minute; usually, it is just the keyboard that is not responding, but the scroll wheel will still work. Sometimes, hitting all keys on the keyboard at once a few times seems to unlock it, but this does not always work. If it is an mPower, try a 4-5-6 reset.
