I think you need something different. It doesn't have to be JAWS and a PC, though. It could be another screen reader and a PC, or it could be a Mac, which comes with a screen reader built-in. To be honest, I'm about at the end of my tether with HumanWare as it is, and hold very little optimism that your specific needs will be met, as indeed will anybody else's. I wish it could be different, because I love the hardware and the friendly tech support people (at least in the UK), but right now, your money will talk best. Support mainstream technology, or if you must float over to another "Ghetto" notetaker, make it as mainstream as possible, or at least as supportive of integration as you can get. But the only remaining really valid reason to keep notetakers nowadays is the included braille display, and you say you're a VoiceNote user, so it's time to get that Mac Mini or MacBook Air or MacBook Pro, iPhone/iPad, Windows box with NVDA, Windows box with Window-Eyes, Windows box with Hal, Windows box with JAWS, PacMate without a display, VoiceSense or just whatever takes your fancy. HumanWare can then learn to compete and give you another option in some future time. Cheers, Sabahattin ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
