Webmail depends on the site. Some sites, like gMail, load fast and are
wonderful, while others take a long time to load and are designed to
work like a computer's email program. These generally rely on watching
where the user moves and clicks a mouse and will alter parts of the
page without reloading the whole page... these sorts of sites
generally do not work. Again, it all depends on your website. One
thing to consider is setting up forwarding on your university email
(ask your computer center how to do this) so you can get mail sent to
that address automatically redirected to a different address that you
know you can check normally.
