The bn does support alt tags, as far as I know.
As far as picture descriptions, no software for any platform exists
that can do this. Apps exist that can look up pictures and tell you
what they are, such as Google Goggles, and some try to sonify the
image to let the blind "see" it using sound (see
http://www.seeingwithsound.org), but none of these will run on the bn.
As another poster already said, no one can do anything about this,
even though I like the idea and think it would be a great addition,
until hw releases some sort of sdk for people to write their own
keysoft programs. Personally, I hope that will happen, but no one
knows when and if it ever will.
