Hi,
Serial connection is just a generic term referring to more advanced
connection methods available. As of KeySoft 9.02, Apex supports terminal
connection via serial, USB and Bluetooth (of which I use Bluetooth often).
This works only if one has 32-bit version of JAWS (unless if ther is 64-bit
driver, which is highly unlikely).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Apex and JAWS

What is the status of using Apex as a braille display with JAWS 11 or 12?
Braillenote is on the list of displays for version 12, but it is listed as a
serial device. I know there was a special driver at one time. What can we
do now?

Thanks.
