If you get an answer to this one off-list, post it please. I don't know of any external chargers, but I have found that once an extra battery is charged it will stay that way for a long time. When I got my Apex back in July, I charged up my spare battery, then stuffed it in my laptop bag. When the primary battery went flat, I put in the spare just to see what shape it was in and was amazed to find, even after several months, that it was at 99 percent. Surprised the heck out of me.
