Hi,
You can rename a file using any sort of extensions - which is a potential
security risk, but to a machine, it's somewhat of a happy story. You can
unzip a .bks or zip file, but you cannot compress i.e. zip a file to make it
smaller; the thing is that there are file compression types which produce
even smaller archive than zip, but these are not supported.
If I remember right, the max file size of attachment is 10 MB.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] big file attachments in Gmail

Hi everyone,
Quick question. Let's say I wanted to send a really big file
like a song track off an SD card via email. Is there a way to
rename the file with a Bks or Zip extension to send it?
Thanks,
Josh
PS: I'd be using a BN and Keymail for this.
