Yes and no, and yes.
1. BN compatibility: it will work in the sense that the bn can act as
a bluetooth braille display and keyboard, but only the apex; no other
bn model can do it. Typing on it is a bit annoying because of the
delay, which it uses to figure out when you are done typing, at which
point it will translate your grade 2 into text. Translations are
sometimes off, though. If you do not have an apex, the iPod (and
iPhone and iPad and even Mac computers) supports about 40 other
displays.

2. I would joit aiphone; email

to start. There is also a viphone list, but I am not on that so I
cannot give an address. Both groups do pretty much the same thing,
though.
