Hi Matt:

Rather than saving as a text document, I would suggest saving as a microsoft word document, .doc.

To do this:

1. Save the document as a normal braille document.

2. Come out of your keyword menu, and go into your file manager.

3. Go to translation menu, and choose export file.

4. Select your file, by going through the normal preseedure for opening a document.

5. When it has asked you how you want to export the document, seleect file, and move on to step 6.

6. Give your file a name and a location.

7. You are done. That file will now be able to be accessed via any pc, braillenote, etc.

Regards, Blake.

Subject: [Braillenote] What format to use for documents

Hello, I do a lot of editing of documents and saving of their
contents to micro s-d cards and then flip-flopping and copying to
external harddrive on my computer, and I am having trouble with
having info I write jumble up and have missing spaces or
line-breaks what am I doing wrong in the saving of and/or
accepting of settings back and forth?
I am only really needing ink printable formats just now and have
been saving to text but I still have these jumble-up issues.

Matt
