development kit - a way for people to write programs for a given operating system or platform. This would help because people could write programs to run on the Sense products. Imagine even a simple card game, written to work with braille input/output instead of a web interface like I have had to use.
As for program distribution, we have no idea at this point, but it is likely that the program would be hosted on the Hims site and would install itself under the Extras menu. Personally, I would like to try this, but my primary focus is still on a brailleNote sdk, mostly because I have a bn and use it every day, so I could develop for it faster and would know the platform better. The advantages of an sdk are huge, and it is why I left the bn list in the cc field. Again, my hope is that hw will see that the "other guy" has taken this massive step toward openness and cooperation with third parties.
