I've been reading the messages in this thread.
I've been using braille note taking devices since 1988. The
Braille Note is the been of these I have ever had. When I want
to use braille, I want a device optimized for braille. If I want
to use Windows portably, I'll use a laptop or a netbook or use
some cellphone operating system, WINDOWS or not.
I'm really tired of the tekkie griping on this list. It's
counterproductive and makes me, and perhaps others, who are on
here for assistance and giving assistance, consider unsubscribing
because of the time wasting. I'm not aiming this at anyone in
particular. This pattern seems to reoccur on a regular basis on
this list.
I'm now using the Apex. Sure, I have some complaints, but I
think the best strategy is to contact relevant people at
Humanware--with some respect and courtesy thrown in--instead of
wasting everyone's time griping away.
Please do not respond to this in anger. Think about it for a
while first. There has been lots of good material on this list.
I appffeciate those who are here taking the time to provide it
gratis.
Yes, I know, I've sent a message or two along these lines to this
list before, and I'm sorry that I feel compelled to do it again.
Now let's return this list to its major purpose. I'd like to be
able to recommend this list without qulification to any new
Braille Note owner--and I think also that you would too (smile).

The word processor on the Sense products isn't half as capable as
the Apex.
The Sense products don't have the capability for reading a
document
seamlessly like the Apex has. My BSP also crashes. Grass isn't
