If the iPod is Windows-formatted, the best you can do with a BrailleNote is use it as a storage device, and perhaps access some of the media. You can't update the database used by the iPod, though, so you can't transfer music to it that will later be playable using the iPod's user interface. Note also, this does not apply to any iPhone or iPod touch, only to Nano and Shuffle. No hope the other way around; iTunes won't control a BrailleNote. So in other words, you will need any PC or Mac, with the latest iTunes installed on it, to manage iPods, iPads or iPhones.
