Hello Louise. I am also in the UK.
I have my contents insurance policy with Morethan, and have specific cover for my Voicenote, my Optacon and my Braillelite to include damage or theft whilst outside my home.
Although these items are specifically identified on my policy, there is no additional charge for their cover. However, it is important to mention them as they are over fifteen hundred pounds to replace.
