Go to the Options Menu by pressing Space with o. 2. Press Space with i to go to the Support Information Mode. 3. Press r for battery recalibration. Make sure that the ac adapter is plugged into the Braillenote. If it's not plugged in, you'll be asked to do so. 4. After you press r for battery recalibration and the ac adapter is connected, a battery test will begin. In this test, the battery will be charged and then discharged. Depending on how much charge there is in the battery at this time, it's all automatic. When the test gets to the point of discharging the battery, KeySoft will talk repetitiously to help it to do so, thus, you'll need to find a spot where the noise won't bother you. Once the battery is completely discharged, KeySoft will automatically start the charging cycle. When the whole cycle is complete, the Braillenote will display, "Battery test completed." After doing the above, my braillenote MPower gave me the following message: "I'm discharging the battery before doing a complete charge." Its still saying that both on the display and with the voice even as we speak, and At one point, the voice stopped talking and the message "battery is critical" appeared on the screen, then it went back to the "I'm discharging the battery before doing a complete charge" message again.
