Hi Carlos,
It depends on what kind of posts you're talking about. Here are
some common Facebook posts and directions on how to do them.
Status Updates
On your home page, which you're taken to when you first log in,
there are two unlabelled form fields. If you're at the top of
the page, the form field to type in your status will be the first
one. So, hit space with dots 4-6 once and when it says "text
input" and/or the Braille display shows the text input symbol,
type your status. This is your short post (420 characters
maximum) about what you're doing or what you think about
something. It's kind of like a short diary entry that your
friends can see. When you're done typing, hit space with 4-6
again to get to the share button, and click it. Then your status
will be posted. Your friends can then read it either by going to
your wall, or by looking at the top news on their home page. On
your home page, there's a link that says Top News. Don't click
on it, but keep reading past it. There's a heading that says
Most Recent after that. This is where you can read the most
recent statuses, wall posts, and other Facebook activities from
your friends: e.g. joining groups, adding friends, liking pages,
etc.
Wall Posts
Sometimes, you may want to post something on a friend's wall that
you want that person and their friends to see, but wouldn't fit
in as your status. You can do this by clicking the Friends link
from your home page. Select the friend you want to write to by
clicking on the link with their name. Once you're on their page,
hit space with 4-6 until you come to an unlabelled text input
box. Type your message, then hit the Post button.
Comments on Statuses, Wall Posts, Photos, Links, Etc. from
Friends or Pages that You're a Fan Of
Remember the top news I was talking about earlier? This is where
that comes into play. A friend of yours (on Facebook) or a page
that you have liked (or become a fan of) may post statuses, post
on another friend's wall, post a photo, share a link, etc. that
you have a comment on. But before I tell you how to comment on a
post, I should say that if you don't want to comment, but like
what the person had to say, you have the option of liking the
post. To do this, click the Like link that you see right after
the post. Now, back to commenting. * Smile! After you read a
post from another person, you'll see two links: like (which I
just told you about) and comment. To comment, click on the
comment link. If comments had already been made on this post,
the link will instead say the number of comments. For example,
if there was 2 comments, the link to comment will say 2 comments.
Similarly, if somebody has already liked a post, it will say the
number of people who like it in the link. Once you click on this
link, you will be taken to a new page, called Comments. From
there, hit space with 4-6 to go to the edit box. Type your
comment, then hit space with 4-6 again, and then hit Enter on the
comment button.
These are the most common posts on Facebook, that you will most
likely use. If you have any questions on these, please email me
or the list, send me a message on Facebook, or post a status
asking the question. Hope all this helps!
Chris
