Hi,
1. If I'm right, copy these two files from KeyList folder on the
PK to the Apex using a Compact Flash card or through your
computer: address list.klt (KeyList Definition) and address
list.cdb (the actual database). These are hidden files, so you
need to go to KeyList folder (from File Manager) and show hidden
files, then copy those two files. Then, on the Apex, paste those
two files you've crpied to KeyList folder.
There were some words that the file might become protected. If
that's the case, unprotect the cdb file, which then will allow
you to enter new contact info.
2. To delete the entire contact database (all info), go to File
Manager, go to KeyList folder on Flash Disk and delete address
list.cdb. You should see a confirmation message and a message
about database file. Press Y for yes. When the "file deleted"
message appears, press C3+C4 to restart KeySoft.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Questions regarding address list
Hello;
Two things I need to do on my BrailleNotes.
First, I want to transfer my address list from my PK to Apex -
how is their
compatibility in this respect, please?
Second, I want to remove any of my entries from my PK's address
list but
since there are of a thousand of them and removing them one by
one would be
rather boring procedure I wonder if there is a easier/faster way
of doing
it.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions.
Best,
Pawel.
