Hi,
I'm not sure about mPower, but if Apex's theory holds, then yes, you could use mPower under 64-bit system with the newer JAWS driver. I think a call to HW for verification would be a good idea.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Joseph,
I am using a 64 bit version of jaws 11. I am also using a
braillenote mpower, which is running keysoft 7.5. This being the
case, can I still get the driver you mentioned and use it?

Hi,
Are you using either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of JAWS? If
using 64-bit, are you uiing JAWS 10 or later?
If you use 32-bit, then you might want to add BrailleNote when
you go to Add dialog; if using 64-bit, it is likely that BN would
not be listed, requiring a small driver file from HumanWare
(which can be found at KeySoft 9.1 page).
Cheers,
Joseph

screen reader

Hi all.
I am trying to use my bn as a braille display with my laptop
running jaws. The only thing is, the braillenote isn't an option
in the list of braille displays in jaws. I am running jaws 11.
Do I need to download an extra driver or something? If so,
where do I obtain this?

Thanks

Jack Jones
