Hi everyone,
I usually don't request things from other list members, but I do
have one simple request for all of you. When you reply to an
email, can you please take out the original message, especially
if you're replying to a digest? I ask this because I recently
switched to digest mode, and had to go through all the original
messages (one being a digest that a person was replying to)
before I could get to the next message. This was kind of
annoying, especially for as long an email as that digest is. I
think HW should (if possible) set Mailman up to take out the
original messages from people when sending the digest, but until
they do, can you do that for all of us in digest mode? To do this
in Keymail, simply hit n for no on the "include a copy of the
original email" prompt. If you're using any other form of email,
i.e. the Gmail Web interface, Outlook, etc, I don't know how to
do that, but there's probably a way. Thanks for your
consideration!
