Hi All,

I need some help! My Apex QT32 with Keysoft 9.1 had to go to the shop
because the Braille display stopped working. They cleaned it and put it back
together, but never did discover what the problem actually was. When I got
it back, I installed the Bookshare hotfix and did a restore of my files. My
hotfix install when very smoothly. The only thing that was weird with my
restore of files was that in keymail all of my messages were there, but the
folders I had created were gone. All of the messages were in the "all"
folder. Yesterday I spent some time creating new folders and copying
messages in to get organized again. However, at one point while copying a
message, I saw a message something about "class" go by. It was there and
gone so quickly, that I don't know what it was about. It reminded me of
those messages you get when you try to read a docks file in Keyword. After
that, whenever I tried to check to see how many messages were in a folder I
got the message: "a device attached to the system is not functioning." I
also get this message when I am in a keymail folder and press the read_b to
go to the last message in the folder. I have tried the soft reset, the
5-second reset and the JKL reset, and the only thing it seems to do is lose
the count of e-mail messages that are in the trash folder that you see when
you exit keymail. Any Ideas? If I backup keymail and restart and restore the
messages do you think I will just perpetuate the problem?

Thanks for any help.

Debby
