Hi,
Welcome to the list.
You could try doing that, although you'll be using computer
braille for writing in foreign scripts. But the creation of
computer braille script file for languages isn't that easy -
based on a quick look at one of the computer braille tables, it
seems that you need the following info:
* Unicode number for the character you need in Danish such as
acutes and circuflex characters.
* The braille dot equivalent of this character (and others) in
Danish braille system.
Also, when creating a table, you need to select to create a new
computer braille file so that BrailleNote can recognize your new
file from Options/Braille Display.
Speaking of the last statement: if you happen to use multilingual
module, the at "computer braille table" prompt, the tables for
foreign languages won't be displayed at first; only USA and UK
are displayed on with display. To get around this, select a
table other than those two (like French Unified), press ENTER and
press BACKSPACE to move back to computer braille table prompt;
then you'll see the computer braille table for foreign languages.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Adding a braille table to the Braillenote
Apex
Hi
My name is Ditte Junge, and I've recently got a Braillenote Apex.
As my
mother tongue is Danish, I'm curious to know whether it's
possible to add an
extra Braille table to be able to write in Danish?
Thank you,
Best regards
Ditte Junge
