I guess sometimes, we get confused because of similar sounding
names - I understand. Thus:
* Windows Mobility Center is indeed part of Windows 7, but it
manages mobile computing functionality of a computer such as
power settings, wireless connection and such.
* Sync Center: This is also builtenmn, but its used for managing
partnerships.
* Windows Mobile Device Center: This one is not installed by
default, but one can obtain 32-bit or 64-bit version from
Microsoft or from HW's website.
* The likely reason why mPower isn't recognized could be because
WMDC is not installed; if it was, it'll recognize it as a Windows
CE-BASED mobile device and should have opened a window to
establish partnerships.

Just for informational purposes, everyone using Windows 7
should know that it's called Windows Mobility Center. And as
someone just said earlier, the keystroke Windows plus x will get
you there immediately.
What I can't figure out is how you get a blasted partnership
set up. The bn (mPower, at least) doesn't get recognized by the
pc, and you don't get a dialog asking about a partnership when
it's connected. How, then, do I set up a partnership in
this Mobility Center thing? For one thing, I need to get my
mPower to synchronize the time with my laptop, since it's a few
minutes behind.
Any help would be appreciated, as well as information on
connecting to my laptop through the network. That sounds like it
could be useful as well.
