I use a wifi hotspot on my iPhone to connect to the internet when
I am out somewhere and don't have normal wifi. I think my hotspot
is kind of like your jetpack except that it is just for
connecting to the internet and does not have the other features
of an iPhone. I could not make my braillenote connect to my
iPhone at first. I had to play around with the settings a lot to
make it work. Eventually, I got it to work by setting the
authentication level to 2 instead of the default setting of 0.
Also, Make sure the password for your jetpack is 10 characters
long. Maybe the settings I use for my hotspot will also work for
your jetpack. Let me know if this works.

Hullo Jessica.
Well, I did get us working least on my desktop. Will hafta fool
about more with the mpower but I betchee I get it going with that
also. If it's in braille I can usually figure it out. Sure
yaller familiar with that type Situation. It is so NICE not to
be stuck on dialup anymore and it is screamingly FAST. I plum
love it! But that WAS a good suggestion and thanks for it.

So it does not work on either of the 2 computers you tried it on?
It sounds to me like your Verizon jet pack is not hooked up to
the internet. You need to pay to use those things. Try calling
Verizon and ask them if your Verizon jet pack is hooked up or if
they cut it off because you forgot to pay a bill or something
like that.

Well Oddly enough this doesn't seem to be an mpower issue at all
as when I hooked it up to the desktop I got the same problem. IT
DOES CONNECT. I just can't go anywhere on the internet or do
anything with it. Nothing works. So Need to get someone out
here knows more about this sort of thing, than I! That's gonna be
a problem but oh well.
Least I have lovely dialup LOL!
Thanks Louis and the lest of you.

Hello Jack,
I am using a Pk but have come across this situation before.
Technology is always said to be sensitive due to its mechanism.
Modems are even more complicating as some do not agree with the
Braille Note products. It needs lots of adjustments. My modem
was in the 7 digit wepkey and it did not work with my PK. I was
asked to change my setting to the 10 digit wepkey or 9 and so on
till it works. However you can choose no wep key and see if your
modem works with the Braille note you have. I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
J. Louis Prem
