I have an iPhone. Not sure if the paring process is the same or
not, but when I pare my iPhone to my braillenote, I don't put in
the 4 0s on the braillenote. I just put them in on the iPhone.
You then have to hit the pare button. It only gives you about 7
seconds and then an error message comes up so you have to be
fast. When you try to pare. Make sure the blutooth is on on the
braillenote and the braille terminal port is set to bluetooth and
the braillenote is in braille terminal mode. On the iPad, Make
sure bluetooth and voiceover are turned on, then, if it is the
same on my iPhone as your iPad, go in to settings then general
then accessibility then voiceover then braille. One of the
options there will be to choose a braille display and your
braillenote should be in the list of displays. Try it. Let me
know how it goes.

Subject: [Braillenote] Ipad and Apex again
Hello Everyone,
I'm having trouble pairing my ipad and apex. I keep getting the
message
pairing took too long. This occurs even when I've had sighted
help. I'm
typing 4 0's on both machines, using computer Braille on the
apex. I've had
this problem both with my ipad and apex and my studet's. Any
hints for
getting it to pair. Both units are running 9.2. Thanks for any
help. It
shouldn't be this hard.
