What is a reg file? What is a registry key? Can you do what you
are doing with only the bn or do you need a computer?

Hello. I believe the utility that I am using allows a user to
export registry keys to a reg file. One of my ideas is to create
a reg file and copy it to the braillenote's startup folder. My
hope is that when the bn is reset, it will see the reg file and
automatically import it into the registry. I am doubtful that
this will work, but I think its worth a try.

What are the ideas you are trying? Even if we can't find a way to
change the location of the cookies, I still like to try new stuff
with and learn more about the braillenote. Is what you are
trying
able to be done with just the braillenote or are you using your
computer as well?

Hello. A cookie is a small data packet that is transmitted
between your web browser and the website you are visiting. It
contains information that identifies the user or tracks their
access to the server. Temporary internet files, or cache, are
copies of webpages that the browser downloads to make loading
time faster.
Unfortunately, there is not a way to change the location of
cookies and temporary internet files without a pc at this time.
I am experimenting with a few ideas, but have not been successful
yet.

Yes. That worked. I found the cookies and also the temporary
internet files. Do you know what the difference between a
temporary internet file and a cookie is? Also, I would love to
have them stored on the flash disk, but I have no computer. Is
there still a way I can make this happen? Thank you.

Hello. There is something you can try, but I'm not sure if it
will work. If this doesn't work, and you still want to view your
cookies, you might want to have them stored on the flash disk
instead. There are several advantages to doing this. The
biggest advantage is that you will no longer lose your log-in
information when you press reset.
To get to your cookie files on the ram disk, try the
following:
1. From the main menu, select "file manager."
2. When asked for a drive, select the flash disk.
3. When asked for a folder, switch to directory mode and type
the following:
/../ram disk/cookies

Hello. I have an apex. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure
that they were stored in a folder called "cookies" that was
located on the ram disk.

Do you remember where they were stored before you changed it?
Also, Do you have an mPower or an Apex?

Hello. The cookies are stored in a folder on the ram disk. I
cannot tell you where they would be on your apex, because I have
actually changed the location of where my cookies are stored.

Does anyone know where the Apex stores cookies? I know it is
somewhere on the ram or keysoft system disk, but where? What
folder or directory? Thank you.
