Ok. I know that the Apex battery gage as well as the battery not
charging fully have been talked about a lot, but usually it is
dealing with 10 percent or less. This time, something very
strange happened to me. I was using my Apex with the ac adapter
not plugged in. I checked my Apex battery level to see how much I
had left. It said 20 percent. Then I reset the Apex because it
was running kind of slow and I find that resetting it makes it
faster. After the reset, the Apex told me it had 57 percent
battery power. Come on!!!! I know the Apex battery gages are not
famous for being accurate, but to have a 37 percent jump just
because of a reset? What is going on here? I have seen the
battery percentage go up or down by 5 percent right after a
reset, but never anywhere near 37 percent. I don't like this. If
the battery is at 57 percent and the Apex thinks it only has 20
percent, then it will try to charge the battery to 137 percent.
This is mathematically impossible. Percentages do not go over
100. Percentages are measured out of 100, not 137. I have seen
firsthand what happens to batteries when they get overcharged.
They get very hot and start leaking acid everywhere.
