Hello list: What I meant to say was that is it possible to have the serial 
cable connected to the computer and the ethernet card connected to the cable 
modem.  It would not download my email while both were connected.  When I 
disconnected the serial cable was when it downloaded.
It also did not sync my address book.  If it did, it's not in the right place.
